Straightblades

Straightblades are a type of knife characterized by a fixed, non-folding blade. Unlike folding knives, the blade of a straightblade remains exposed and attached to the handle at all times. This design generally contributes to greater strength and rigidity compared to folding knives, as there is no pivot mechanism that could potentially fail.

They typically require a sheath for safe storage and transport when not in use. Maintenance for straightblades usually involves cleaning, drying, and periodic sharpening to maintain the blade's edge.
