Storsjöodjuret

The Storsjöodjuret, often translated as the Great Lake Monster, is a legendary creature said to inhabit Lake Storsjön in Jämtland, Sweden. First documented in the 17th century, tales of the creature have persisted for centuries, with numerous reported sightings and alleged encounters. Descriptions of the Storsjöodjuret vary, but commonly depict it as a large, serpentine animal with humps along its back and sometimes a horse-like head. Its size is often exaggerated, with some accounts suggesting it can grow to be over 30 feet long.
