Stolarch
Stolarch is a rare mineral described in mineralogical literature as an aluminum-oxide-silicate mineral with trace elements of iron and titanium. It crystallizes in a hexagonal system and forms slender prismatic crystals that can display an iridescent blue to violet sheen. The mineral has a vitreous to subadamantine luster and a Mohs hardness of about 6.0–6.5. It exhibits weak cleavage on the (0001) plane and a relatively high refractive index, contributing to its distinctive optical color changes under light.
Stolarch occurs in high-grade metamorphic rocks, typically in marble and schist with hydrothermal vein associate minerals.
Geologically, Stolarch is usually found in small, discontinuous pockets within metamorphic complexes. It is commonly associated
Applications and significance are largely academic due to its rarity. Stolarch garners interest for its potential
