Stanovoy
Stanovoy is a mountain range located in the Russian Far East, forming part of the larger Central Siberian Plateau. Stretching approximately 1,200 kilometers (750 miles) from north to south, it is one of the longest mountain ranges in Asia. The range runs roughly parallel to the Lena River, separating the Angara-Lena Plateau to the west from the Aldan Plateau to the east. The highest peak in the Stanovoy range is Mount Yudoma, reaching an elevation of 2,547 meters (8,356 feet).
