Yudoma

Yudoma is a river in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is a right tributary of the Lena River. The Yudoma basin is located in the northeastern part of the Aldan Highlands. The river originates in the Yudoma Plateau, a region known for its permafrost and sparsely populated terrain. The length of the Yudoma River is approximately 760 kilometers. Its drainage basin covers an area of about 42,500 square kilometers.

The Yudoma River is characterized by its winding course, with numerous rapids and shallow sections. It flows through taiga forests and marshy lowlands. The river freezes over for most of the year, typically from late October or early November until May. During the spring thaw, the Yudoma experiences significant flooding. The main tributaries of the Yudoma include the Amga and the Tolon.

Due to its remote location and challenging navigability, commercial navigation on the Yudoma is limited.
