Spännringar

Spännringar, also known as snap rings or circlips, are a type of fastener, a metal loop that holds components in place on a shaft or within a bore. They are commonly used to prevent shafts from sliding out of bearings or to position components along a shaft.

The installation and removal of spännringar usually require specialized tools called snap ring pliers. These pliers have tips that engage with holes or slots on the ends of the spännring, allowing it to be expanded or compressed for fitting or removal. The correct selection and installation of spännringar are crucial for the proper functioning and safety of mechanical assemblies. They are widely used in automotive, industrial machinery, and various other engineering applications.
