Spänningsförlusterna, often translated as voltage drop, refers to the reduction in electrical potential along a conductor as current flows through it. This phenomenon is a consequence of Ohm's Law, which states that voltage is equal to current multiplied by resistance (V = I * R). Every conductor has some inherent resistance, and as electrical current passes through this resistance, a portion of the electrical potential is converted into heat, leading to a decrease in voltage.
