Sprechstimmen
Sprechstimmen denotes auditory verbal hallucinations in which a person hears voices without external speakers. These voices may speak alone or in dialogues, address the person directly or obliquely, and can be perceived as coming from external sources or from inside the head. The content ranges from neutral commentary to critical, threatening, or commanding statements, and voices may be persistent or intermittent.
