Splitgenów

Splitgenów is a term used in Polish to describe a phenomenon where a person, typically a man, has two wives. This practice is not recognized by Polish law, which only allows for monogamous marriages. Splitgenóws are often the result of a man marrying one woman legally and another woman informally, or having two wives in separate, unregistered relationships. The term is derived from the Polish word "genów," which means "wife."
