Spielszenen
Spielszenen are short dramatic pieces, often created as part of an improvisation exercise or a workshop setting, particularly within the German-speaking theatre and drama education context. The term "Spielszene" literally translates to "play scene" or "game scene." These scenes are typically characterized by their spontaneous nature and the absence of a pre-written script. Participants are often given a starting point, such as a scenario, a character relationship, or a single line of dialogue, and are then expected to develop the scene organically through improvisation.
The purpose of Spielszenen can vary. In educational settings, they are used to develop acting skills, explore
