These orders involve customization, modification, or creation of items to meet specific customer requirements. The scope of specialorders varies by sector. Common examples include made-to-order furniture or clothing, customized electronics or machinery, bespoke vehicles, and event or catering menus tailored to a client’s needs. In retail, a specialorder might involve procuring a non-stocked item or configuring a standard item with chosen options.
