Spastilisuse

Spastilisuse is a progressive neurological disorder characterized by sustained muscle contractions and increased muscle tone, leading to stiffness and difficulty with movement and coordination. It is considered a rare condition with limited case reports in medical literature.

The exact cause of Spastilisuse is unknown, but it is believed to result from abnormal functioning within the central nervous system, particularly involving the motor pathways that regulate muscle tone and movement. Some cases have been associated with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord lesions, or neurodegenerative diseases, suggesting an acquired origin, while others appear idiopathic.

Symptoms typically include muscle stiffness, spasticity, difficulty with voluntary movements, and occasionally, muscle weakness. The severity can vary widely among individuals and may worsen over time. Patients may experience gait disturbances, increased reflexes, and, in some instances, pain or discomfort due to muscle rigidity.
