SpaceXs

SpaceXs is not a distinct organization in widely cited references. The term is commonly a misspelling or shorthand for SpaceX, the American private aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company. There is no separately defined entity officially named SpaceXs.

SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk with the aim of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the colonization of Mars. It is headquartered in Hawthorne, California, and develops rockets and spacecraft for both government and commercial customers. Core products include the Falcon rocket family and the Dragon spacecraft. SpaceX has pursued reusable rocket technology, with first stages designed to return to launch sites or land on droneships, a development that has significantly influenced the economics of spaceflight.

Dragon spacecraft have flown cargo missions to the International Space Station, and the Crew Dragon variant has been used for crewed missions. In 2020, the Crew Dragon Demo-2 marked the first crewed orbital launch from U.S. soil since the Space Shuttle era. SpaceX has also built the Starlink satellite constellation, aimed at delivering global broadband coverage by hundreds or thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit.

Looking ahead, SpaceX has continued development of Starship, a fully reusable launch system and spacecraft intended for crewed missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as high-capacity cargo flights. In common usage, SpaceXs is often treated as an erroneous variant of SpaceX. See also SpaceX.
