Solmujänniteanalyysi, often translated as nodal voltage analysis, is a fundamental technique in electrical engineering used to determine the voltages at each node in an electrical circuit. A node is defined as a point where two or more circuit components are connected. This method relies on Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL), which states that the algebraic sum of currents entering a node is equal to the sum of currents leaving the node.

The process begins by identifying all the essential nodes in the circuit. One node is typically designated as the reference node, often the ground, and its voltage is set to zero. For all other essential nodes, KCL is applied. This involves expressing the current through each branch connected to the node as a function of the node voltages and the impedances of the branches. For resistive circuits, Ohm's Law is used, where current is voltage divided by resistance. For circuits with reactive components like capacitors and inductors, impedance (Z) is used, which is a complex number representing the opposition to AC current flow.

By applying KCL to each non-reference node, a system of linear equations is generated. The unknowns in these equations are the voltages at each of the non-reference nodes. Solving this system of equations, typically using methods like substitution or matrix inversion, yields the voltage at every node in the circuit. This information is crucial for understanding circuit behavior, calculating power dissipation, and analyzing the function of more complex electrical systems.
