Solhavn is a coastal town and municipality in the fictional nation of Nordmark, located on the southern shore of the Nordfjord region. The name derives from Old Norse sol, meaning sun, and havn, meaning harbor. The town sits at a sheltered bay backed by low hills and is connected to nearby islands by ferries and bridges.

Solhavn has a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers. Precipitation is common throughout the year, and the natural harbor provides protection for ships during variable weather.

Historically, Solhavn began as a medieval fishing village and developed through harbor improvements and early shipbuilding in the 17th and 18th centuries. In the 20th century, fishing, seafood processing, and maritime services remained central to the economy, while tourism began to grow in the late century and has expanded since.

Today the economy combines commercial fishing, aquaculture, seafood processing, boat repair, light manufacturing, and tourism. Solhavn is governed by a municipal council elected for four-year terms, with a mayor leading the executive. It is part of Nordmark County and falls under national governance on maritime and regional matters. As of 2023, the municipality had roughly 22,000 residents. The local language is Nordmarkian, with administration conducted in the national language as well.

Notable sites include Solhavn Harbor, the Old Lighthouse, and the Maritime Heritage Museum. The town hosts an annual Harbor Festival and features a scenic promenade along the waterfront. Solhavn is served by a regional railway line and a network of buses, with ferries linking to neighboring islands.
