Sloterplas
Sloterplas is a large urban park located in the Amsterdam district of Amsterdam-Oost, Netherlands. It is one of the largest parks in the city, covering an area of approximately 100 hectares. The park was created in the 1920s as part of the urban renewal project to provide green spaces in the rapidly growing eastern part of Amsterdam. It is named after the Sloterplas lake, which was drained in the 1920s to make way for the park.
