Skjöldungs
The Skjöldungs, or Skjöldungar (often anglicized Scyldings), are the legendary Danish royal dynasty of the North Germanic tradition. They are depicted as the ruling line of Denmark in much of the medieval Norse and Danish storytelling, occupying a mythic prehistory that connects divine and mortal realms.
