Skivepumps
Skivepumps, also known as skive pumps or skive pumps, are a type of centrifugal pump used in various industrial applications. They are designed to handle large volumes of liquid with relatively low head requirements. Skivepumps operate by using a series of skives, which are thin, curved plates, to move the liquid. The skives are mounted on a rotor and are positioned in such a way that they create a series of channels that the liquid flows through. As the rotor spins, the liquid is drawn into the pump and then forced out through the discharge port. Skivepumps are known for their simplicity, reliability, and ability to handle a wide range of liquids, including those with high solids content. They are commonly used in applications such as wastewater treatment, slurry handling, and chemical processing. Skivepumps are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the specific needs of different applications.
