Sixbit
Sixbit is a historical character encoding that represents each character with six bits, allowing up to 64 distinct symbols per position. Because of the small symbol set, sixbit schemes were used on systems where word size or transmission bandwidth favored compact representations, or where hardware natively operated on six-bit units.
