Situasjonsforståelse

Situasjonsforståelse, a Norwegian term, translates to "situational awareness" or "understanding of the situation" in English. It refers to the cognitive process of perceiving, comprehending, and projecting the future status of dynamic environments. This concept is crucial in various fields, including aviation, military operations, emergency services, and even everyday life, where effective decision-making often hinges on accurately grasping the current circumstances.

At its core, situational awareness involves three primary levels: perception, comprehension, and projection.
