Sibelius

Sibelius most commonly refers to Jean Sibelius (1865–1957), a Finnish composer whose music played a central role in the development of Finnish national identity. His output includes seven symphonies, tone poems such as Finlandia and Tapiola, and a number of concertos and chamber works. His style spans late Romanticism and early modernism, with distinctive orchestration and thematic development.
