Shinwari
The Shinwari are a Pashtun tribal group primarily found in eastern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan. Their core homeland lies in parts of Nangarhar and Kunar provinces in Afghanistan, with sizable communities spread across adjacent areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas. They are one of the larger Pashtun tribes and are generally described as part of the Karlani grouping within the broader Pashtun ethnolinguistic family.
