Seerose
Seerose, commonly known as water lily, is a group of aquatic flowering plants in the genus Nymphaea, within the family Nymphaeaceae. They are perennial, rhizomatous plants that anchor in mud and send floating leaves to the water surface. Leaves are round to heart-shaped, broad, and typically have a petiole attached at or near the center, allowing them to float; from the leaf stalks rise cup-shaped flowers on long peduncles. Flowers display a range of colors, including white, pink, yellow, or red, often with a sweet fragrance; blooms may last a day or longer depending on species.
Seerosen inhabit still or slow-moving bodies of freshwater such as ponds, lakes, and wetlands across temperate
