Seedcarrying

Seedcarrying refers to the dispersal of seeds by animals. This process is crucial for plant reproduction and the maintenance of plant biodiversity. Animals that carry seeds are known as seed dispersers. These animals can be broadly categorized into frugivores, granivores, and scatter-hoarders.

Frugivores consume fruits and excrete the seeds, often at a distance from the parent plant.
