ScapulaYAnsicht
ScapulaYAnsicht, or scapula Y view, is a radiographic projection of the shoulder that emphasizes the scapula forming a Y shape. In this view, the acromion and coracoid process form the two upper limbs of the Y, while the body of the scapula forms the stem. The projection is used to assess the relationship of the humeral head to the glenoid and to help identify dislocations and related injuries in the shoulder region.
