Sawirishelped is a philanthropic initiative established by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, a non‑profit organization founded in 1996 by the Sawiris family of Egypt. The Sawiris Foundation is known for investing in education, health, and entrepreneurship projects that aim to improve living conditions in underserved communities across Egypt and the greater Middle East. Sawirishelped specifically focuses on mobilizing local volunteer networks and corporate partners to deliver targeted assistance during emergencies and community development projects.

The initiative’s mission is to create sustainable, locally driven solutions for vulnerable populations. Programs under Sawirishelped include emergency relief during natural disasters, such as flood cleanup and the distribution of essential supplies to affected households; educational scholarship campaigns for students from low‑income families; and support for small‑scale enterprises through micro‑credit facilitation and business training. The foundation partners with local NGOs, schools, and health clinics to implement projects that align with national development priorities.

Since its launch, Sawirishelped has coordinated assistance for over 150,000 individuals in 27 provinces of Egypt, reached by direct aid, educational sponsorships, and health outreach activities.
