Sanamuotojärjestys
Sanamuotojärjestys refers to the typical or preferred order of words within a sentence in a particular language. While many languages have a relatively fixed word order, Finnish exhibits a degree of flexibility. The most common word order in Finnish is Subject-Verb-Object (SVO), similar to English. For example, "Minä syön omenan" (I eat an apple). However, Finnish also readily uses other orders for emphasis or stylistic reasons.
Object-Subject-Verb (OSV) is possible, for instance, "Omenan minä syön" (The apple, I eat) to highlight the object.
