Samhällsvetenskapligt

Samhällsvetenskapligt is a Swedish term that translates to "social scientific" or "social science-related." It refers to the academic disciplines that study human society and social relationships. These disciplines employ systematic methods to analyze and understand various aspects of human behavior, social structures, and cultural phenomena.

The scope of samhällsvetenskapligt encompasses a wide range of fields. Key among these are sociology, which examines the development, structure, and functioning of human society; political science, focusing on government, politics, and political behavior; economics, which analyzes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services; anthropology, studying human societies and their development; psychology, investigating the human mind and behavior; and human geography, exploring the spatial aspects of human activities and their relationship with the environment.

Research within the samhällsvetenskapligt tradition often involves qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
