SaintSépulcre

SaintSépulcre is a French term that translates to "Holy Sepulchre". It most commonly refers to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, a major Christian pilgrimage site. This church is believed by many Christians to encompass the site where Jesus was crucified, known as Golgotha or Calvary, and the tomb where he was buried, the Holy Sepulchre itself.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has a complex history, with its current structure largely dating from the Crusader period. However, its origins trace back to the 4th century when Emperor Constantine the Great ordered its construction over the traditional sites.
