Saint Lazare refers to a few distinct entities, most notably Gare Saint-Lazare and the historical Lazare family. Gare Saint-Lazare is one of the six major railway stations of the Paris-Saint-Lazare network in Paris, France. It is the second busiest station in Paris by passenger numbers, after Gare du Nord. Opened in 1837, it has undergone numerous expansions and modernizations throughout its history. The station is a significant transportation hub, serving both suburban and long-distance routes.
