Saillans is a commune situated in the Drôme department of southeastern France, approximately 70 kilometers east of Valence and 30 kilometers south of the town of Die. It lies within the picturesque landscape of the Prealps, at an elevation ranging from 300 to 550 metres above sea level, and covers an area of about 14 square kilometres.
