Saatchi

Saatchi refers to a surname associated with a notable British family and to organizations built by its members. The most widely known are Maurice Saatchi and Charles Saatchi, brothers born in Baghdad, Iraq, who emigrated to the United Kingdom. They founded the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in the 1970s after acquiring several smaller agencies and building a global network. The firm grew rapidly to become one of the world’s largest and most influential advertising agencies, renowned for its rapid expansion and high-profile campaigns. In 2000, Saatchi & Saatchi was acquired by Publicis Groupe, and the network has since operated as part of Publicis Communications under the Publicis umbrella.
