STEMINSTEMI

STEMINSTEMI is an international, multidisciplinary initiative aimed at integrating STEM education and research with the clinical management and prevention of STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction). The name signals an emphasis on bringing together science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine to advance education, innovation, and evidence-based practice.

The project originated in the early 2010s when a coalition of universities, teaching hospitals, and industry partners established a coordinating center and regional networks. It operates through working groups focused on education, technology development, data science, and clinical translation.
