SPXTR
SPXTR is a software framework and toolkit designed for real-time signal processing, data acquisition, and visualization. It offers a modular architecture in which processing chains are built from interchangeable components such as input adapters, signal processors, and output sinks. The goal is to provide low-latency performance, portability across operating systems, and an extensible plug-in ecosystem.
Development and license: The project is maintained by an international, volunteer contributor community and is distributed
Architecture: The core engine handles scheduling and data flow, while a plugin system enables third-party processors
Features and usage: SPXTR supports real-time audio and non-audio signals, spectral analysis, filtering, resampling, and basic
Applications and reception: The framework is used in research, education, and hobbyist projects for prototyping signal-processing
