SIPOCanalüüsi, often referred to as SIPOC analysis, is a tool used in business process management and quality improvement initiatives. It is a high-level diagram that helps to identify and define the key elements of a process. SIPOC is an acronym for Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, and Customers.

Suppliers are the entities that provide the inputs necessary for the process to function. Inputs are the resources, information, or materials that are required to execute the process. The Process itself is a sequence of steps that transform the inputs into outputs. Outputs are the products, services, or information that result from the process. Finally, Customers are the individuals or groups who receive the outputs of the process.

The primary purpose of SIPOC analysis is to gain a shared understanding of a process among stakeholders. It is often used at the beginning of a Six Sigma or Lean project to define the scope and boundaries of the process being analyzed. By mapping out these five components, teams can identify potential areas for improvement, understand the flow of work, and ensure that everyone involved has a clear picture of what the process entails and who is affected by it.
