S23

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a line of flagship smartphones produced by Samsung Electronics, released in 2023 as part of the Galaxy S series. The lineup includes the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, which share a common design language and core hardware while differing mainly in size, battery capacity, and camera capabilities.

Design and display reforms center on a glass front and back with an aluminum frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. All models use Dynamic AMOLED displays with high refresh rates up to 120 Hz, and the screen sizes are approximately 6.1 inches for the S23, 6.6 inches for the S23+, and 6.8 inches for the S23 Ultra.

Performance and storage are led by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy in most markets, delivering improved efficiency and performance over previous generations. The S23 series offers multiple RAM and storage configurations, with the Ultra variant providing the most expansive options, including up to 1 TB of storage. Battery capacities range from about 3900 mAh on the base model to 4700 mAh on the S23+ and 5000 mAh on the Ultra, with wired fast charging and wireless charging support.

Cameras form a key differentiator: the S23 and S23+ adopt a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x zoom. The S23 Ultra features a 200 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide, and two telephotos (3x and 10x). All models retain capable front cameras and strong video features, alongside Samsung’s computational photography.

Software and updates include Android with One UI, with Samsung pledging four generations of Android OS updates and five years of security updates for the S23 series.
