Rukoukset
Rukoukset are acts of communication with a divine being or beings, typically expressed through spoken or silent words. They can express praise, confession, petition, gratitude, and intercession. Rukoukset occur in private devotion, family worship, and public liturgy. They may be liturgical, drawn from established texts used in worship, or spontaneous, created in the moment by the speaker. In many religious traditions rukoukset are a structured form of dialogue with the sacred.
