Rho

Rho is a term with multiple meanings across science and mathematics, most notably represented by the Greek letter ρ. In its broadest sense, rho serves as a symbolic shorthand for various quantities and concepts in different fields.

In physics, mathematics, and statistics, ρ commonly denotes density (mass per unit volume) and is also used for related concepts such as density matrices in quantum mechanics and radial coordinates in cylindrical or spherical systems. In biochemistry and cell biology, the Rho family refers to a group of small GTPases, including RhoA, RhoB, and RhoC.
