Rfaktor
RFaktor is an open-source software framework for radio-frequency RF engineering and education. It provides tools for modeling, simulating, and optimizing RF systems, ranging from individual components such as filters and amplifiers to complete RF chains that include antennas and impedance matching networks. The project adopts a modular, component-based approach that lets users assemble systems from library blocks and extend them with custom models.
Architecture and features: The core is a simulation engine that supports both time-domain and frequency-domain analysis,
Applications: The framework is used in design verification, education, and research to prototype RF front-ends, evaluate
Development and status: RFaktor is maintained by an international community of contributors and released under an
Limitations: As with any simulation framework, the accuracy of results depends on the quality of the models
