Resonantselt is a term used in the field of electromagnetic theory and materials science to describe a class of engineered composite elements designed to produce strong, tunable resonant responses at specified frequencies. The concept emerged in the early 2000s as researchers sought ways to create artificial materials—often called metamaterials—with properties not found in naturally occurring substances.
