Rekryytti is a Finnish word that translates to "recruitment" or "conscription" in English. The term is most commonly associated with the Finnish Defence Forces and their conscription system. All Finnish men are subject to conscription upon turning 18. They are then assessed for fitness for military service, and those deemed suitable can be called up for service.
