Rehabilitatives

Rehabilitatives refers to the range of interventions, programs, and tools designed to restore, maintain, or improve functional ability and participation in daily life following injury, illness, or disability. The goal is to reduce impairment, enable activity, and promote independence across physical, cognitive, communicative, and psychosocial domains.

Rehabilitative services are typically provided by multidisciplinary teams that may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, neuropsychologists, rehabilitation physicians, nurses, and social workers. They may involve therapeutic exercise, functional training, assistive devices, cognitive rehabilitation, pain management, education, and environmental adaptations.
