Regioolid
Regioolid is a hypothetical chemical compound that describes a molecule containing a ring structure where one of the ring atoms is replaced by a hydrogen atom, or a methyl group, or any other alkyl group. This concept is often used in organic chemistry to discuss the structure and reactivity of cyclic compounds. For instance, a carbocyclic ring with a hydrogen atom replacing a carbon atom in the ring backbone would be considered a regioolid derivative. Similarly, if a methyl group is part of the ring structure but not directly bonded to two other ring members, it can be considered a regioolid feature.
The term itself is not a standard IUPAC nomenclature but rather a descriptive term used to highlight
