Regionalnational

Regionalnational is a term used to describe political and social dynamics centered on a strong regional identity within a larger state, where allegiance to a region is mobilized as a political force aiming at greater autonomy, recognition of regional distinctiveness, or, in some cases, independence. It encompasses cultural, linguistic, economic, and political components and is not tied to a single ideology or secessionist goal.
