Regentfalls

Regentfalls is a coastal city in the fictional nation of Navara. It serves as the administrative center of the Regent District and a regional commercial hub. As of 2023, it has about 62,000 residents and sits at the estuary of the Regent River near the Bay of Nor, connected by a historic harbor and network of canals.

Historically, Regentfalls formed around river trade in the 17th century and expanded through shipbuilding and port activity. The 19th century brought industrial growth and rail connections, while late-20th century redevelopment shifted emphasis toward services, logistics, and technology.

The city lies on a low, temperate coastal plain with a river delta. It experiences a maritime climate with mild summers, cool winters, and moderate rainfall.

The port remains the economic anchor, handling containers, fishing, and related logistics. Other sectors include light manufacturing, education, and a growing tech and research cluster. Regentfalls is served by a port, a regional rail line, a ring road, and Regentport International Airport 25 km southeast.

The city is governed by a mayor-council system within Navara’s national framework. The city council oversees planning, housing, and transit, while a metropolitan assembly handles regional coordination.

The Old Town preserves historic street plans, and sites such as Regent Harbor Lighthouse and Regent Falls Park are notable. The annual Regent Regatta reflects the city’s maritime heritage.
