Reduktorite

Reduktorite, often referred to as gearboxes or gear reducers, are mechanical devices designed to transmit and modify rotational speed and torque from a power source to a driven component. Their primary function is to decrease the speed of rotation while simultaneously increasing the torque. This is achieved through a system of meshing gears of different sizes. A smaller gear, driven by a motor or engine, turns a larger gear at a slower rate but with greater force. The ratio of the number of teeth on the driving gear to the number of teeth on the driven gear determines the reduction ratio.

Reduktorite are essential in a vast array of applications where the output speed of a prime mover, such as an electric motor, is not suitable for the direct operation of a machine. For instance, in conveyor systems, high-speed motors are coupled with reduktorite to achieve the slow, steady movement required to transport materials.
