Rechtsmittelsentscheidungen are court decisions that resolve questions related to the use and effectiveness of legal remedies (Rechtsmittel) within a judicial procedure. They determine, among other things, whether a remedy such as an appeal, objection, or complaint is admissible (Zulässigkeit) and, if admissible, how the remedy will be processed or decided.

These decisions can be issued at different stages of a case and may address both procedural and substantive aspects of the remedy. Typical issues include timeliness, proper form, exhaustion of remedies, and the scope of review granted by the remedy. In some cases, a Rechtsmittelsentscheidungen also directly decides the merits of the remedy, for example by granting or denying an appeal or revision.

Form and terminology vary by jurisdiction, but common forms include a Beschluss (order) or a short decision that accompanies the determination of the remedy.
