Realkompetansepoeng, or realkompetansepoeng, are points used in the Norwegian higher education admissions system to recognize and count real-world competence as part of an applicant’s overall score. They are a form of recognition of prior learning (RPL) intended to reflect knowledge and skills gained outside formal schooling and to improve access for adults and non-traditional students.
