RautaIIsuolans, also known as iron(II) sulfate or ferrous sulfate, is a chemical compound with the formula FeSO4. It is typically encountered as a blue-green crystalline solid. In its hydrated forms, it can appear as various shades of green or even yellow or brown if it has oxidized. RautaIIsuolans is an inorganic salt and a common source of iron.

Industrially, rautaIIsuolans is produced as a byproduct of steel pickling, where steel is treated with acid to remove rust and scale. It can also be synthesized by reacting iron metal with sulfuric acid. Its applications are diverse. It is widely used in water treatment to remove impurities and as a reducing agent. In agriculture, it serves as a soil additive to correct iron deficiencies in plants, particularly in alkaline soils where iron availability is low. This is often seen in lawn care products to combat yellowing grass.
