Rasvatööstus, often translated as the fat industry or rendering industry, refers to the sector involved in the collection, processing, and utilization of animal fats and oils. This industry plays a crucial role in the circular economy by converting by-products from animal slaughterhouses, butcher shops, and food processing plants into valuable commodities.
